Alkaline Foods

Alkaline foods will not cause acidity to your health.


Here is the list of alkaline foods


  • Artichokes, Arugula, Asparagus, Beets, Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflower, Celery, Chives, Collard Greens, Cucumbers, Dandelion Greens, Endive, Garlic, Ginger, Green Bean, Horseradish, Kale, Kohlrabi, Leeks, Lettuce, Mustard greens, Okra, Onions, Peas, Bell Peppers, Radishes, Rhubarb, Rutabaga, Sea Vegetables (Agar, Nori, hijiki, Arame), Soy Sprouts, Spinach, Sweet Potatoes, Turnips, Watercress, Yams, Zucchini.


  • Edamame, Lentils, Lima Beans, Soy Lecithin, Soy Nuts, Tofu, White Navy Beans


  • Avocado, Cherries, Unsweetened Coconut, Grapefruit, Lemons, Limes, Tomatoes

Nuts and Seeds:

  • Almond Milk (unsweetened), Almonds, Cumins seeds, Fennel seeds, Pumpkin seeds, Sesame seeds, Sprouted seeds (Alfalfa, Red Clover, Broccoli)

Herb and Spices:

  • Most Herb and Spices (The exceptions are curry powder, nutmeg, vanilla), Celtic Sea Salt, Cayenne Pepper, Red Pepper Flakes


  • Avocado oils, Borage Oil, Coconut oil, Cod Liver Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Flaxseed Oil, Marine lipids, Olive Oil.


  • Alkaline Water: Fresh Vegetables Juice

These “Wise Acid Foods” as source of protein for vegetarian may be eaten in moderation (approximately 30%), combined with alkaline foods:

  • Tofu, Legumes (kidney bean, chickpeas, navy bean, pinto bean), Pumpkin seeds, Almond, Avocado, Spinach, Broccoli, Green Leaf Lettuce, Kale, Peas, Zucchini, Carrots, Lemons, Garlic, Blueberry

In the contrary of alkaline food, acidic foods are bad; you must try to avoid them as much as you can.
